NAOS is following current government, NHS and BACP advice around our service delivery in the current coronavirus situation .

We are aware that there may be some disruption or postponement to our service on a temporary basis. We will do all that we can to advise you of this in good time.

If you have any questions please contact us via email in the first instance

For clients currently working with NAOS we would ask that you please postpone sessions as soon as you are able if you are advised medically to self-isolate, or if you have any symptoms of a cold, persistant cough, respiratory issues or a raised temperature. Again you can do this via or directly by phone or email to your therapist.

In the event that your therapist is diagnosed with coronavirus the NHS may require that NAOS divulge a list of people that the therapist has come in contact with. In such circumstances if requested to, we will inform you of this and the NHS of the contact the therapist may have had in the last 5 days

We are following government advise and as such we ask that therapist and clients are mindful of practicing appropriate hygiene procedures. For the period of concern we will be refraining from shaking hands and close contact with others.

Please take any preventative approaches you feel may work for you eg: you may wish to bring your own tissues to sessions, use hand sanitiser etc

Obviously outreach therapists will not visit clients at home should they have to self isolate and you will be informed accordingly . Please let your therapist know if you or anyone in the house is unwell or has been advised to self isolate as therapists will not visit in these circumstances.
